Graduation!

Graduation from the 1 st grade already?

I cant believe its already here! My little girl will be a 2nd grader this year. Its so hard to believe! Awards were Friday at school. Her teacher had one special awards ceremony in her classroom and the kids loved it! She gave everyone their own award... she came up with something that the kids came to know each other for throughout the year and named them all. There was a Tender Heart Award, Motor Head Award, Soon-to-be Teacher Award and so on. In true Lauren spirit she earned the Social Butterfly Award and to beat it all she was turned around in her chair talking when her name was called and didn't even hear the teacher! All the parents present got a real kick out of that! She also got the girl reader award in her class. We are so proud of our smart little girl! He res to many more years of her actually enjoying school!
